BeerTune

Changelog

What's new in BeerTune

  1. New
    • Brew the next version of a recipe with one click — it inherits the name, style, and tasting card so ratings stay comparable.
    • Side-by-side version comparison — see how v1, v2, v3… score on every metric.
    • Hide individual responses from stats — great for filtering out the occasional troll without deleting the raw data. One click to restore.
    Improved
    • Beer series are now detected from the recipe lineage — no more aspirational "plan to iterate" checkbox.
    • Tasting card locks automatically on child versions so v1 and v2 stay apples-to-apples comparable.
    • Competition scoresheet renamed to "BJCP-style 2021" with a small disclaimer — BeerTune is not affiliated with the Beer Judge Certification Program.
    • BJCP-style scoresheet minimums now start at 1 instead of 0 to match the real scoresheet.
  2. New
    • Edit, archive, and delete your beers right from the beer page.
    • Friendlier date picker with a built-in calendar — follows your app language.
    Improved
    • Blind-mode printable QR now hides the beer name so tasters stay blind.
    • Beer form is clearer about which fields tasters see and which stay private.
    • Response count no longer includes visitors who opened the page but never answered.
    • More of the app is translated to Hungarian — plan descriptions and BJCP style categories.
    Fixed
    • Draft tasting state now survives locale switches and page reloads.
    • Public tasting form no longer errors out when moving between phases.
  3. New
    • In-app feedback widget — share an idea, report a bug, or just say thanks right from the nav bar.
    • Changelog page — keep up with what we ship each week.
    • Newsletter opt-in at registration and in your profile.
    • Referral program — give a friend a free month, get one yourself when they subscribe.
  4. New
    • Analytics tab on each beer — score distributions, phase comparisons, response timeline, and a blind→informed funnel.
    • Printable QR card for handing out with the beer.
    • Interactive phone-mockup demo on the landing page.
    Improved
    • Shorter blind tasting phase — fewer numeric scales, faster completion.
    • Responses view now reads like a tasting sheet with translated labels and chips.
    • Brewer Summary leads with a blind-vs-informed delta hero instead of sparse empty score cards.
    Fixed
    • Print QR page no longer exhausts memory on larger codes.
  5. New
    • Hungarian locale across the app.
    • Onboarding tour for new brewers.
